✨ ZK-Newsflash! ✨
Here are the highlights of what happened in the ZK space from 19th to 24th November '24.
Learn about hash functions with this blog post, by 3MI Labs and Diego Kingston. ⚡
In it, you will learn what its basic properties are, what the differences between regular and cryptographic hash functions are, applications, and more.
It is definitely a great read to understand different proof systems.
Dear internet, today we give you another article on hash functions by @3miLabs and @zkdiegokingston .

Dive into Kimchi, the proof system powering Mina. 💜
Kimchi is the proof system at the heart of our deal partner Mina.
What makes Kimchi so special?
Let’s find out in our blog post.
Aligned verifies proofs quickly and cost-effectively, making ZK more accessible for use on Ethereum. Our dear partner @MinaProtocol is a succinct ZK blockchain that generates compact proofs for every block, allowing anyone to run a Mina node without further trust assumptions.

Evan Shapiro, co-founder of Mina, offers a fantastic explanation of Mina. 🚀
He describes how recursive proofs make it possible to check the chain history from lightweight devices with full node security at zkAccelerate by Ingonyama.
It’s brilliant. Check it out here.
Mina is small = you can check the chain history from lightweight devices like phones and browsers with full node security 🤳

Here’s co-founder @evanashapiro breaking down how recursive proofs make this possible at zkAccelerate by @Ingo_zk pic.twitter.com/lPbjc3zffv
Ingonyama proposed two new primes, Polar Bear and Terry Bear, with amazing properties. 🤯
These primes exhibit strong potential to rival existing options in terms of 2-adicity, smallness, and modular arithmetic efficiency.
The paper offers details about the procedure for modular reduction (a cornerstone in field arithmetic), and many more.
Very interesting paper. We are very thrilled with the work of our partners.
👀We propose two new primes that have thus far received little attention within the ZK community but exhibit strong potential to rival or outperform existing options in terms of 2-adicity, smallness, and modular arithmetic efficiency.
