✨ ZK-Newsflash! ✨
Here are the highlights of what happened in the ZK space from December 23rd to 29th, '24.
A new blog post in collaboration with our partners 3MI Labs is out: How to construct a Hashing Mode? 🤯
It's an in-depth post diving into two mode design paradigms:
✅ Iterated (e.g., Merkle-Damgård and Sponge hash constructions).
✅ Tree-Based (e.g., Merkle Tree Hashing).
In this article, we explore how these hashing modes work, their advantages, applications, and much more. Whether you’re building cryptographic protocols or exploring hashing for your next project, understanding these modes is essential.
Mina has launched a Bug Bounty Program with HackenProof. 💜
It aims to further strengthen the Mina Protocol network by incentivizing hackers to find and report vulnerabilities that could otherwise be exploited.
A fantastic initiative. Kudos to the Mina team!
Introducing a LatticeFold Rust implementation, by Nethermind. 🎉
LatticeFold was created by Binyi Chen and Dan Boneh and is the first lattice-based folding scheme whose security depends on the Module Short Integer Solution (MSIS) problem.
Now, the Nethermind Team has shared a Rust implementation of this work.
It's interesting to see this development, especially considering the recent advancements in quantum computing.
A very special ZK Podcast episode is now available: Decoding 2024 & Predicting 2025. 📣
Anna Rose, Tarun Chitra, Guillermo Angeris, and Nicolas Mohnblatt the challenges facing the ecosystem, new ZK research, applications, and more.
A great episode to conclude the year. Congrats!
